2013's LINCOLN MKZ made quite the appearance at January's North American International Auto Show. LINCOLN feels their new vehicle might set a standard for design, in which other vehicles that are part of the line up will follow. Montgomery Motors in Troy, NC currently has MKZ models. 2013 trims will hit lots later this year.
MKZ showed off some fun tech gadgets. There are two screens in the vehicle's dash: A 10.1 inch Nav screen, as well as an 8 inch LCD. Buttons take the place of a stick shift transmission, and the MyLINCOLN Touch system is implemented. LKZ even has a panoramic glass roof.
There will be Ecoboost powerplants under the hood, with hybrids also rumored.
"LINCOLN has the current MKZ, one of the brand's strong sales stories. In its final year on the market, MKZ sales in 2011 increased 22 percent over the prior year, and its hybrid edition has attracted new looks from shoppers," reminds The Washington Post. 1
With sales on an up-swing, and cars that are going to be more accepted by a general audience, we predict LINCOLN will continue to flourish - for years to come.
