If you were at the 2012 North American International Auto Show last week, you probably saw the LINCOLN'S MKZ Concept, ready to hit dealer lots later this year . If you did not attend the Show, Montgomery Motors serving Troy, is happy to tell you about it.
We are talking about a concept car here, but it certainly give us hints as to what the 2013 MKZ sedan will look like upon completion. With a narrow but slightly longer wheelbase, this mid-size sedan features a large chrome grill, with less intense angles than current LINCOLN vehicles.
"This is what the future of Lincoln looks like," said Max Wolff, Lincoln's director of design. MKZ is the first of seven new or reworked vehicles promised for the 2014 lineup. "It's clean, expressive and signals the direction we're going to take the brand in the next two years."1
As we know, the luxury brand LINCOLN is working toward a more significant separation from their parent company. Models plan to be quite different from those of its fellow carmaker; some will even have their own unique drivetrains. While a production version is headed to dealerships late this year, there has been no official pricing announced. The current MKZ sedans starting at mid-$30,000's, we at Montgomery Motors expect a similar price range for the 2013 models.
